Local Ambassadors Program

The DevFest Local Ambassador Program is an opportunity for everyone to act as liaisons between GDG Thessaloniki and their local communities.

Learn about innovative Google products and programs
Help, plan and host fun and techie events
Act as local contacts for GDG Thessaloniki teams
Help GDG Thessaloniki understands each local community’s culture and challenges

DevFest Ambassadors have the opportunity to enhance their professional development, leadership, and communication skills, and access to the unique network of GDG Thessaloniki across the world. Plus, there’s swag!

Ambassadors are thrilled by new technology, enthusiastic about Google, and involved in their local communities. They have majors from Computer Science, to Anthropology, to Business, to Zoology!

An ideal DevFest Local Ambassador is:

Available 10 hours per month to spend on Google evangelist work
Familiar with Google products including but not limited to Google Docs, Chrome, Search, and YouTube
An active Google+ user
Involved with local tech organizations and activities
Either an undergraduate/postgraduate student or a professional
She/he must be over 18 years old (unless otherwise agreed)
